Coronavirus in Windsor and Maidenhead: The latest case numbers and deaths

The number of recorded coronavirus cases in Windsor and Maidenhead now stands at 509.

The health body is now including Pillar 2 tests – those carried out by commercial partners – alongside Pillar 1 tests, which are analysed in NHS or PHE laboratories and which made up the first stage of the Government’s mass testing programme.

21 new cases were recorded in the latest week, which is 18 less than the previous week.

131 coronavirus-related deaths were registered to August 21.

Across the UK, the number of recorded cases increased by 1,735 over the period, to 340,411.

Cumulative case counts include patients who are currently unwell, have recovered and those that have died.
