A new doughnut shop in Wokingham will be giving away free doughnuts when it opens this Saturday.
Those who pop down to the shop between 12pm and 2pm will be able to get their hands on one of the doughnuts and see what the funky artisan bakery has to offer.
Doughnut Time opened its first shop in the UK on London’s Shaftesbury Avenue and since then it has expanded and opened shops across the country.
Doughnut Time is described as being a “disruptive bakery brand paving the way for social-media small-businesses”. The chefs at the shop draw inspiration from what’s trending at the time and this is reflected in the names of their doughnuts.
The shop has a Mean Girls six-pack set of doughnuts, inspired by the film and a doughnut called the Notorious P.I.G, which references the Notorious B.I.G and uses Percy Pigs to create a very pink and pig inspired doughnut.
They also have a Mars Bar doughnut called the ‘Bruno Mars’.
Rosie Hudson, the marketing executive at Doughnut Time, said: “We are delighted to announce our newest store on Denmark Street, Wokingham is opening this Saturday.
“The team has been working hard in the lead up to our launch party and now we can’t wait to finally welcome the Wokingham community.
“Pop by on Saturday between 12pm and 2pm to grab a free doughnut and celebrate with us!”
