Europe’s most prestigious ceramic festival – Art in Clay, is thrilled to be moving to a brand-new venue in Windsor to celebrate its 27th year of the show, where discerning homeowners seeking that unique finishing touch to their décor can discover and buy acclaimed ceramic artwork.
Visitors to the international renowned event will also have an opportunity to hear from TV’s famed Great Pottery Throw Down judge Keith Brymer-Jones as he discusses his experiences within the pottery world.
Along with the strong line up of the Pottery world’s most knowledgeable and experienced potters’ well-known artists and up-and-coming ceramicists will both display and sell their art at an exciting new venue the Royal Windsor Racecourse, Berkshire on August 20, 21 and 22.
In addition to the 200 exhibitors showcasing their art, a full daily programme will include:
- Ceramic talks and demonstrations for those with an interest in furthering their ceramic knowledge and expertise. With headliner Keith Brymer-Jones, famed for being a judge on TV’s Great Pottery Throw Down, discussing his career as a potter on Saturday 21st at 12.30pm. Further talk/demo announcements to be confirmed in the coming weeks.
- A Clay Creation Zone to fire both children and adults’ imagination with options to throw a pot on a potter’s wheel, have a go at Raku or make a creation by hand with guidance from an experienced potter
- Visitors can also have a go at the clay challenge
- Exhibitor awards including The Valentine Clays Peers Award and The Potclays Student Award that recognise an outstanding peer and newcomer to the world of pottery and ceramics.
