The feast is finished, the crackers are cracked and the choirs have carolled but you get a bit of a craving, be it for some classic skinny fires, some crispy chicken nuggets or a hearty Big Mac.
Most days of the year, this wouldn’t be a problem, but on Christmas Day, this task becomes a bit trickier.
However, you may be in luck as some McDonald’s restaurants are actually open on this national holiday, you just have to know which.
So to make your life easier, BerkshireLive has rounded up all the locations which are open so you can get your Maccies fix. Luckily there are quite a few places open, although the opening times may vary.
In Reading, there are seven restaurants open although they close from anytime between 11pm and open 24 hours, so make sure you know the festive opening times of your local store so as to not be caught out when you are wanting a midnight snack. Reading Gate Retail Park and Calcot Relocation are the two places where you can get your Big Mac 24h a day.
In Slough, there are six locations open, two of which are open 24h – the restaurants on Bestobell road and in Bath Road Retail Park.
In Maidenhead, the McDonald’s on the High Street is open but only until 11pm, so you have to make sure you plan your fast-food feast accordingly.
Similarly, the restaurant on Windsor’s Thames Street is also only open until 11pm.
Newbury Retail Park has a McDonald’s open for 24h today, December 25, so not to fear if you live in West Berkshire.
Both of Bracknell’s McDonald’s have to close at 11pm, but they are open nonetheless, so you still have the possibility to grab your grub throughout the day.
So, don’t worry if you want a McFlurry after your Christmas dinner, McDonald’s has got you covered.
