Nando’s in Reading set to reopen after ‘planned maintenance’ takes place

One Nando’s branch in Berkshire has been closed due to ‘planned maintenance’ but is set to open again this week. A temporary closure was in place as the branch receives new kitchen equipment.

Nando’s in Reading Gate Retail Park in Imperial Way will be back open on Friday, June 17. Customers will once again be able to enjoy the flame-grilled peri-peri style chicken.

New kitchen equipment is being fitted as part of the planned maintenance closure. Until then, the chain has another branch in Reading on Friar Street and in the Oracle Centre for those budding customers who cannot wait a few days for a cheeky Nando’s.

This news comes soon after the Afro-Portuguese inspired restaurant has introduced some changes to the menu in time for summer. A spokesperson for Nando’s said: “The Imperial Gateway Nando’s is closed for some planned maintenance. They are having some new kitchen equipment fitted and will be back open on Friday.”
