Have you ever dreamed about solving a complex murder case? Or do you think you have what it takes to give Columbo and Magnum P.I. a run for their money?
It’s time to put your detective skills to the test as a new CSI-inspired murder mystery is coming to Berkshire.
CluedUpp Games will give groups of six the opportunity to use forensic techniques, codebreaking, and good old-fashioned detective work to solve the case as you make your way around the town centres.
How can I get tickets?
The event will be coming to Reading on March 19, 2022, and Windsor on June 11, 2022.
The game takes place via the CluedUpp smartphone app, which is available on both iOS and Android and takes players on a trail to find clues scattered around the town.
Tickets are on sale now, costing £42 for a team of six adults and can be purchased online. Children under 16 and dogs can take part of free.
Only one ticket needs to be booked per team and there must be a minimum of two players and a maximum of six players.
If you have more than six people in your team, you will need to buy more than one ticket.
How long will the game last?
The “secret starting location” will be revealed in your pre-game briefing, and you can start anytime between 9am and 2pm on the day.
The event is expected to last between two and three hours, and organisers encourage you to wear CSI-themed fancy dress.
A prize will be awarded to the best-dressed team. There will also be prizes for the fastest team, best team picture, best team name, best young detective, and best dog photo.
Founder of CluedUpp, Tref Griffiths said: “We have worked tirelessly to bring our amazing customers a new mystery and an incredible outdoor experience that will leave gamers on the edge of their seat – be prepared to step in the shoes of a crime scene investigator as you navigate the streets to find clues to crack the case!”
