Reading Easter weather: Met Office forecast shows exact times it will be hottest

In usual spring fashion, temperatures have been rising and dipping in the past couple of weeks. Whilst there have been highs of 20C in Berkshire, some nights have also seen temperatures plummet to below freezing.

Most people will be having a long four-day weekend from Friday, April 15, to Monday, April 19, thanks to the Easter holidays and a lot of people will also be praying for a period of warm, dry weather. Luckily, BerkshireLive has worked out the exact times that temperatures will be hottest.

Whether you’re living in Reading, Slough, Wokingham, Newbury, or elsewhere in the county we’ve got you covered. As temperatures look set to climb high into the teens, it’s time to get outside and enjoy the spring sunshine.

The four-day weekend looks set to see some cloud, a small chance of rain, and lots of sunshine. As we approach summer the strength of the sun’s rays is also increasing so make sure to bring your suncream with you if you’re heading for a day out.

Reading

On Friday there will be highs of 18C at 4pm. There will be a glimpse of sun at 10am with heavy clouds set to move into the town at around this time. The sky will become clear by around 7pm and then sun will be at its strongest at around 1pm.

On Saturday the sun will make an appearance at 7am and there will be sunshine throughout the day up until the sun sets at around 7pm. Temperatures will reach a high of 18C at around 4pm and UV light will be at its strongest at 1pm.

On Sunday the sun will once again make an appearance at around 7am and the day will remain sunny up until the sun sets at around 8pm. Temperatures will reach a high of 18C at around 3pm and the day will be sunniest at around 4pm.

Monday is set to be another sunny day. Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 17C at 4pm and the day will be sunniest just before 1pm when there will be a UV strength of 4. From 1pm to 4pm there will be some slight cloud.

Wokingham

On Friday the sun will be shining by 7am but most of the day will be relatively cloudy. The sun will be strongest at 1pm and temperatures are set to reach 18C by 4pm.

On Saturday, the morning will see some clouds, but these will disappear by 10am before being replaced by more clouds at 1pm. The day is set to see temperatures of up to 18C by 4pm and the day will be sunniest from around 10am to 1pm.

On Sunday there will be cloud for most of the day up until around 7pm when the sun starts to set. Temperatures will reach a high of 18C at 3pm and the sun will be at its strongest at midday.

On Monday the sun will be shining up until 1pm when a few clouds will move over here. These clouds will disappear at around 7pm and temperatures are expected to reach a high of 16C at 4pm.

Windsor and Maidenhead

On Friday, Windsor will be sunniest at around 1pm when there will be a UV strength of 4 and a 30 per cent chance of rain. Temperatures will reach 19C by 4pm and there will be cloud throughout the day.

On Saturday the sun will be shining by 10am and there will be some cloud at midday. The sun will then be in full force by the afternoon. Temperatures will reach a high of 18C at 4pm.

On Sunday there will be cloud all day up until around 7pm and the sun will be at its strongest at midday. Temperatures will reach a high of 18C in the afternoon between 1pm and 4pm. Monday will see a sunny morning, followed by a cloudy afternoon. Temperatures will reach highs of 17C at 4pm and the day will be sunniest at around 1pm.

Slough and Bracknell

Friday will see highs of 18C at around 4pm and the day will be relatively cloudy with the sun expected to be at its strongest at midday. Saturday will be both sunny and cloudy, with cloud predicted from 1pm to 4pm. Temperatures will reach a high of 18C at around 2pm.

On Sunday there will be cloud throughout the day and highs of 18C in the afternoon, settling down to 17C at 4pm. The sun will be at its strongest at midday. Monday will see a sunny morning followed by a cloudy afternoon and temperatures will reach a high of 17C at around 3pm.

Newbury and West Berkshire

Friday will be quite a cloud day and the sun will not appear until about 4pm. Temperatures will reach a high of 18C in the afternoon. On Saturday there will be lots of sun and cloud, with temperatures expected to reach a high of 18C at around 3pm and sunset expected for 8pm. The sun will be strongest at midday.

On Sunday there will be more cloud. The sun will also make a few appearances throughout the day and will be at its strongest at 1pm. Temperatures will reach a high of 18C at around 3pm. Monday will see more sun and cloud, with temperatures expected to reach 17C before 4pm. The sun will be at its strongest at midday.
