Speculation has been circulating after lorries and trailers were spotted in Windsor Great Park leading people to question what was being filmed there.
Earlier this week, photos were shared which showed lorries, cars, electric generators and tents next to the Guards Polo Club which is near Egham Wick and Virginia Water.
A spokesperson for The Crown Estate said that filming would last for a day but they would not expand further to tell us what was being shot.
People on social media believe the filming could be for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them 3 after it was revealed that a Warner Bros lorry was at the scene.
It said: “Canadian Avenue from the Totem Pole to The Valley Gardens coffee unit will be closed. Please follow the diversions.”
While this might not have been because of the filming, crews were reportedly at the Valley Gardens area.
The park is also convenient for the crew as the film is being shot at Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden, Hertfordshire, which is only a 45-minute drive away.
The Harry Potter spin-off starring Eddie Redmayne and Jude Law will be released in July 2022.
According to Games Radar, its release date is set for July 2022.
Production of the film recently made headlines after a team member tested positive for Covid which halted filming.
A Warner Bros spokesperson told the BBC: “The diagnosis was confirmed as a result of required and ongoing testing that all production employees receive, and the team member is currently in isolation.
“Out of an abundance of caution, Fantastic Beasts 3 paused production and will be back up in accordance with safety guidelines.”
