Reading’s newest independent food venue, Blue Collar Corner, will be opening to the public this Saturday
Blue Collar organises food markets around Berkshire.
The venue sits in an area that was disused and derelict before it was recently built into a yard that houses four kitchens, a bar, and a rooftop garden.
The site uses industrial-looking blue and yellow containers and features covered and outdoor seating areas with summery-looking foliage and wooden boxes, benches, and booths to sit in.
Reading’s newest independent food venue is set to open to the public this Saturday and will offer customers the opportunity to try bao buns, tacos, chicken wings, pizza, and a wide variety of alcohol at the bar, which is run by Double Barrel Brewery.
Four independent food vendors have found permanent residency at the site, whilst a cheesecake pop-up stall will also sell food for a while, with a variety of DJs also set to make appearances.
Builders are still at the site and completing the last touches before the venue opens this Saturday, March 12.
