Another lockdown paves the way for spring cleaning and getting rid of rubbish.
But is the Maidenhead, Windsor and Slough recycling tips open during the third lockdown?
As the country is told to stay at home and only venture outside for essential reasons, what can and can’t you do?
Stafferton Way Household Waste and Recycling Centre in Maidenhead said they are open and residents can visit on any day.
The Stafferton Way site is for the use of residents of the Royal Borough only.
You will be asked to produce your Advantage Card as proof of residency. Alternatively you can produce photo ID together with proof of residency such as a council tax statement or utility bill.
Trips to the tip are deemed essential if residents are no longer able to safely store their waste at home, or if it cannot be disposed of safely by council collections.
Visitors are asked to keep a two-metre distance at all times, arrive within their time slot and to reduce contact with staff.
The Chalvey HWRC is available temporarily to residents of Slough and of the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead only.
The tip is open to 31 March, Monday to Sunday: 9am – 5pm
